The Saudi Ministry of Energy hosted Middle East and North Africa Climate Week 2023 in collaboration with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), marking the first time the event was held in Saudi Arabia.

The event showcased regional climate-action efforts, innovative solutions, and emerging opportunities while promoting youth engagement and raising awareness of climate-related issues and the region’s unique perspective in addressing them.

Alfaisal University Life Sciences alumna Lamya Abdullah Alotai participated as a panelist, representing the University’s alumni community and contributing to this important regional dialogue.
